Bouts of Psychosis
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: ADHD DRUGS AND DEATH
Topic: ANYBODY * ANYDAY
(quote from The New York Daily)
More than 500 children on medication for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder have reported bouts of psychosis, federal health officials revealed yesterday at a hearing to determine if tougher warnings were warranted for the popular stimulants.

And at least five kids on Adderall XR - one of the most prescribed ADHD drugs - have died from possible heart failure since it was approved for pediatric use in October 2004, the Food and Drug Administration said.

The growing use of these stimulants - which also include Ritalin, Focalin and Strattera - has come under scrutiny recently because of reports of rare but serious side effects.

From 2000 to last year, the number of adults ages 20 to 44 on ADHD medication jumped 164% among women and 119% among men, according to Medco Health Solutions, which manages pharmacy benefits for employers and insurance companies.

So where is all the Money?
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: 37 millions in fines ? But where is that money at ?
Topic: BIG MONEY PLAYERS
In this Industry where so far, According to the Justice Department, there has been around $731 million dollars in fines which happens to be the second largest amount of ever collected by the department from a single price-fixing conspiracy.

So today, three Executives at South Korean chipmaker Samsung Electronics Co. who have just pled guilty and agreed to serve jail time and
each pay a 250,000 fines.
the results of a long investigation in the price fixing of computer chips.

The full article I read is here!

The sales executives admitted to a scheme to artificially set prices for DRAM (dynamic RAM) with other co-conspirators. The Justice Department has been investigating allegations of DRAM price-fixing since 2002. Earlier this year, Infineon pled guilty to corporate price-fixing charges and agreed to pay a $160 million fine.

The Court ordered Samsung to pay the $300 million fine in installments in the next five years,
with the first payment of
50 million dollars due within 15 days.
The PC customers affected by the price-fixing activities included Apple Computer, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM, according to the documents.

DRAM stands for "Dynamic Random Access Memory" which is used in computers, cell phones, game consoles, and other like products.

The Zebra 3 Report is just wondering where all that
300 million dollars the Justice Department is going to start collect within the next 15 days is going to?

HA....... gotta have deep pockets for 300 million
And I bet those Justice Department Brown Suits have just that pockets to hold all of that!

*check out the original link I posted at the top, and see the fines that have been collected already, 165 million from one, 84 million from another, 160 million from another ...WOW!

I wonder if those fines were in cash?

THIS LINK HERE IS AN INTERESTING INDEX TO a dozen articles ABOUT THE ROUGH ROAD THIS DRAM CHIP MARKET HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH WITH SUITS AND PATENT RIGHTS AND FTC APPEALS ..... GEEEEEE WHIZZZZ!

USA IS BECOMING --> THE POLICE STATE
Mood:  irritated
Now Playing: SWAT TEAMS USE RISES - MILITARY STYLE OF FORCE USED
Topic: CIVIL RIGHTS

*** picture is of Portland Oregon SWAT pigs***

This BBC report --> HERE and quoted below is a wake up call from
ZEBRA 3 Reports!

Professor Peter Kraska, an expert on police militarization from Eastern Kentucky University, says that in the 1980s there were about 3,000 Swat team deployments annually across the US, but says now there are at least 40,000 per year.

Professor goes on to say "I get several calls a month from people asking about local incidents - wrong address raids, excessive use of force, wrongful shootings - this stuff is happening all the time"

John Gnagey, executive director of the National Tactical Officers Association, told the BBC: "What we find is that when Swat teams go out, shootings go down.

Professor Peter Kras mentions "These elite units are highly culturally appealing to certain sections of the police community. They like it, they enjoy it," he says.

"The chance to strap on a vest, grab a semi-automatic weapon and go out on a mission is for some people an exciting reason to join.

"The problem is that when you talk about the war on this and the war on that, and police officers see themselves as soldiers, then the civilian becomes the enemy."

CITIZENS BECOME THE ENEMY

MACHINE GUN ROBO COPS....

MUST STOP THE ENEMY!

Read about this killing of unarmed Virginia doctor --> Armed with assault rifles, stun grenades - even armored personnel carriers - units once used only in highly volatile situations are increasingly being deployed on more routine police missions.
Dr Salvatore Culosi Jr had come out of his townhouse to meet an undercover policeman when he was shot through the chest by a Special Weapons and Tactics force.
Dr Salvatore was described as a pussycat by his father. He is now dead to his local Police SWAT Team.

Joe Anybody says --> Don't Trust The US on Human Rights Law!
Mood:  loud
Now Playing: Human Rights ..... The USA tells the UN - our way or no way!
Topic: HUMANITY
So Bolton has the position in the UN to represent the US......but who is he really representing?

If I was born stupid
I would of thought the US really did care about Human Rights and participating in honorable ways to protect them.

Ha! Not with this UN bozo behind the wheel.
The mere fact that Bolton who didn't even respect or believe in having a UN would then become the ambassador for this
Once A Great Nation The USA!
And by his representingly screwing up our US/UN Policy for the delight I'm sure, of the neocon administration.
It is now been on a terrible downhill slide, in that we were proudly once known as being Noble and Virtuous, it seems the neocon leadership representing us now are pestilential perverse!
...A U.N. diplomat closely involved in the negotiations said that it was not clear to them what Washington ultimately wanted. Mediators and allies offered ideas to help them achieve their goals-- and nothing happened, he said.

Facts be told I am all to aware that we could care less about Human Rights.
Nothing happend? .....Z3 Readers not all to well why the water is murky and its not clear, Government choas
And no offered ideas could help.
Joe Anybody know all to well what them bastards are doing......"not clear" here "not clear" there
torture here.., war there.... unclear year to year.
Ya ....so Boltons not at is UN workplace ...because he is back at home putting the Media PR bull/Spin to everyone who pretends to care.

As pointed out by Swiss Ambassador Peter Maurer who criticized the United States approach as "intransigent and maximalist" and for using its lofty ideals as a cover to undermine the U.N.
He goes on to say "All too often, high ambitions are cover-ups for less noble aims, and oriented not at improving the United Nations, but at belittling and weakening it,"
...no that is the America I am learning we have become under the neocons!

In true, bushman form as he did with the "Deny That We Torture Topic,".... critics said that instead of negotiating at these meetings, the U.S. simply kept repeating its position. As well, Bolton did not appear at most of the formal sessions, which other ambassadors who did show up took to mean that Washington was not taking the process seriously, diplomats said. (Great Job Bolton way to represent the USA on Human Rights for all of us citizens of the USA to the United Nations)

In the resoning behind the US stance against a 2/3 vote on Human rights this it has been said that U.S. negotiators privately acknowledged that "The two-thirds standard could even be used to keep the U.S. off the council in a time when the United States is under scrutiny for its treatment of detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq and the detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba"

Aaaahhhhhh I knew Torture fitted into this hogwash.
The US could be and should be booted from the council just for this point by itself.

So as Bolton held meetings and telephone calls with a number of editorial boards of major newspapers across the country he was able to give influential opinion makers his one sided take on the negotiations, while he ignored or refused to agree to any kind of policy in a stunning losing end of the 170-4 vote on the creation of a U.N. Human Rights Council.

Good Job USA for Human Rights Policies.
Read the LA TIMES ARTICLE about this joke of a man and his representing you at the UN.

If Bolton was not making his message clear at the U.N., it was certainly clear in Washington. The ambassador spent every Friday there in Washington, briefing Congress members and meeting with State Department and White House government officials.

His press secretary, Ric Grenell, arranged calls and meetings with about 70 editorial page editors. In one influential editorial, the New York Times wrote, "John Bolton is right; Secretary-General Kofi Annan is wrong."..

Bolton claimed "We would rather have nothing than something that falls short of our standards. That was our view all along," .....DID HE SAY WE WOULD RATHER HAVE NOTHING?????? WOW NO HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY ...THAT WOULD MAKE IT REAL EASY TO TORTURE AND ATTACK COUNTRIES WITH INPUNITY....

In the words of one of the chairs of the preparatory meetings "Their bottom lines were not unreasonable," said. "But their [USA]inflexibility was! If one formula does not work, if you're serious, you should work to come up with another one. For the most part, they [USA]did not do that."

Senators Smith & Wyden:
"If Bill Clinton Deserved Censure, So Does George Bush"

Back in 1999, Senators Smith & Wyden co-sponsored a resolution to censure President Clinton for his conduct in the Lewinsky affair. Now, Senator Feingold of Wisconsin has introduced a resolution in the Senate to censure President Bush over his illegal wiretapping program. Unfortunately, Senators Smith & Wyden have not yet come out in support of this resolution -- a position that seems deeply hypocritical.

Click Here to tell Senators Smith & Wyden to be consistent and censure President Bush for his illegal conduct: It is a simple pre written form from the web site group "Act For Change" which is asking the two Oregon Senators to step up and represent us ...
"The People"
By signing this form we ask that our reps honor our rights to be secure in our Freedoms and Liberties, And that it is being done with our president following our countries laws, as he should of been doing!
And now he needs to be told to do so by being censured.
It is asking them to represent "us the people' when the bushman starts crossing the line of what Our Constitution guarantees us, to be self evident

Folks this is the process:
Contact your Representative.
Demand Justice.
Stand up and be counted!
Fight The Good Fight

US ARMY SCUM BAG Could Getup to 24 1/2 years in PRISON
Mood:  on fire
Now Playing: Here is just a tip of the Iceberg on MILITARY TORTURE
Topic: WAR

From MSNBC
AP Press Link

FORT MEADE, Md. - A jury found an Army dog handler guilty Tuesday of abusing detainees at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison by terrifying them with a military dog, allegedly for his own amusement.

The government contended that Smith, of the 523rd Military Police Detachment, Fort Riley, Kan., used his black Belgian shepherd to intimidate five prisoners for fun and competed with another canine handler trying to make detainees soil themselves.

In closing arguments Friday, a prosecutor said Smith had violated two tenets of his training: treat prisoners humanely and use the minimum amount of force needed to ensure compliance.

***** now folks listen to his Defense comment *****
The defense argued that Smith was a good soldier who had done what he was supposed to do by having his dog bark at prisoners in a dangerous, chaotic environment where policies were so fuzzy that even the general who supervised interrogations testified he felt confused.

Joe Anybody holds the Commander in Chief and the Secretary of Defense in full responsibility.
See how the Lawyer said he was a "good solider who done what he was suppose to do"
Even his general supervisor didnt know what was clear or what was a fuzzy policy.
GIVE ME A FRICKING BREAK!!
GOD DAMNIT LISTEN TO THIS HOG FRICKEN WASH!!!!!!
THE US MILITARY LEADERSHIP IS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THESE WAR CRIMES!

WAKE UP AMERICA! AND SMELL THE BLOOD ON OUR OWN GOD DAMN HANDS

THEN LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND ASK THE PERSON YOU SEE " HEY WHAT AM I DOING TO STOP THIS?"

Don't be surprised if the man in the mirror says "NOTHING,"

Airlines are stopping Terrorists or Just loosing Luggage
Mood:  incredulous
Now Playing: 30 million bags of Luggage lost in 2005 .....NO JOKE!
Topic: ANYBODY * ANYDAY
GENEVA (AP press clip)
--If you've ever been frustrated after an airline lost your luggage, you're in the good company of millions of others. An estimated 30 million bags were temporarily lost by airlines in 2005, and 200,000 of those bags were never reunited with their owners, according to an industry report released Monday. (More on this here)

These fools break and damage enough luggage to start with, but now.....
Then they loose 30 million pieces of baggage?
I can not believe this?

My thought is how can they look for a terrorist and bombs if they can't even keep track of my suitcase!

I wonder what percent of the "missing" is really stolen by their own staff?
Probably 95%

I did read where only 3 percent of all misdirection of baggage occurred due to tagging errors.

And by the way, there is no industry standard for permanently lost bags, and items.
In some countries are the luggage is later sold at auctions.
In the United States, the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, sells more than 1 million items each year

My lost luggage is one thing but the whole TIA security is about as well run as the baggage department ...read My Zebra 3 Report from a few days ago on the bomb making explosives and parts that 21 airports failed to find or catch
In spite of the "BIG CRACKDOWN" on Terrorism they cant even begin to get it right let alone track my luggage and provide me a safe flight. I'm not asking for much, beings I gave up my civil rights for them to do all this?!

Portland, Oregon

A protest march with demonstrators carrying signs that said "Impeach the Evildoer," took nearly an hour to pass through the streets. Police estimated the turnout at about 10,000 and reported no arrests.

A handful of protesters donned orange boiler suits and wore shackles on their wrists to mimic outfits worn in the US Guantanamo Bay prison, and carried photographs of prisoners.

One protesters comment was that his initial estimate was about 10,000-15,000 but people kept flooding the park while the speakers spoke so by the time we marched there must have been 20,000-40,000 people.

Now Playing: RICH or POOR ~ To Be or Not To Be
Topic: ANYBODY * ANYDAY
I found the following short story ...
"on this blog here"

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"How Poor People Live"
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from the trip, the father asked his son, "Did you enjoy the trip?"

"It was great Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added,

"Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

In all 21 airports tested, no machine, no swab, no screener anywhere stopped the bomb materials from getting through. Even when investigators deliberately triggered extra screening of bags, no one discovered the materials.
New Jersey Gov. Tom Kean, chairman of the 9/11 commission, said,
"I'm appalled," he said. "I'm dismayed and, yes, to a degree, it does surprise me. Because I thought the Department of Homeland Security was making some progress on this, and evidently they're not."
