Airlines are stopping Terrorists or Just loosing Luggage
Mood:  incredulous
Now Playing: 30 million bags of Luggage lost in 2005 .....NO JOKE!
Topic: ANYBODY * ANYDAY
GENEVA (AP press clip)
--If you've ever been frustrated after an airline lost your luggage, you're in the good company of millions of others. An estimated 30 million bags were temporarily lost by airlines in 2005, and 200,000 of those bags were never reunited with their owners, according to an industry report released Monday. (More on this here)

These fools break and damage enough luggage to start with, but now.....
Then they loose 30 million pieces of baggage?
I can not believe this?

My thought is how can they look for a terrorist and bombs if they can't even keep track of my suitcase!

I wonder what percent of the "missing" is really stolen by their own staff?
Probably 95%

I did read where only 3 percent of all misdirection of baggage occurred due to tagging errors.

And by the way, there is no industry standard for permanently lost bags, and items.
In some countries are the luggage is later sold at auctions.
In the United States, the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, sells more than 1 million items each year

My lost luggage is one thing but the whole TIA security is about as well run as the baggage department ...read My Zebra 3 Report from a few days ago on the bomb making explosives and parts that 21 airports failed to find or catch
In spite of the "BIG CRACKDOWN" on Terrorism they cant even begin to get it right let alone track my luggage and provide me a safe flight. I'm not asking for much, beings I gave up my civil rights for them to do all this?!

Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, a strident Bush critic, said world opinion is turning against the war as he offered some of his harshest criticisms of the U.S. president in months. "The world is opposed to your war, Mr. Danger," Chavez said Sunday on his weekly television and radio program. He also called Bush a "coward," a "donkey" and a "drunkard."

A protest march with demonstrators carrying signs that said "Impeach the Evildoer," took nearly an hour to pass through the streets. Police estimated the turnout at about 10,000 and reported no arrests.

A handful of protesters donned orange boiler suits and wore shackles on their wrists to mimic outfits worn in the US Guantanamo Bay prison, and carried photographs of prisoners.

One protesters comment was that his initial estimate was about 10,000-15,000 but people kept flooding the park while the speakers spoke so by the time we marched there must have been 20,000-40,000 people.

A short story about being Poor
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: RICH or POOR ~ To Be or Not To Be
Topic: ANYBODY * ANYDAY
I found the following short story ...
"on this blog here"

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"How Poor People Live"
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from the trip, the father asked his son, "Did you enjoy the trip?"

"It was great Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added,

"Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

In all 21 airports tested, no machine, no swab, no screener anywhere stopped the bomb materials from getting through. Even when investigators deliberately triggered extra screening of bags, no one discovered the materials.
New Jersey Gov. Tom Kean, chairman of the 9/11 commission, said,
"I'm appalled," he said. "I'm dismayed and, yes, to a degree, it does surprise me. Because I thought the Department of Homeland Security was making some progress on this, and evidently they're not."

"Every Generation Needs A New Revolution"
Gosh z3 readers, those fore-fathers sure were insightful. How did they know that bushman's neocons were going to be ruining our country and that a "Revolution" is what we would be needing. Just like Thomas Jefferson said?

READ THE TEXT BELOW AS QUOTED FROM THE WEBSITE -->
The Daily Reckoning
article date: 3-16-06

The United States? ticking time bomb...if debtor is slave to the lender, what does that make Americans?

The big news is that the U.S. current account deficit rose to a new record, its ninth record high in 10 years.
The number for last year was $804
billion. The number for the last quarter of last year was $224.9 billion,
which shows the trend is still upward. At the current rate, the current
account deficit will hit $1 trillion within a year or two. It is already
at 7% of GDP - a figure that would normally only be seen in a banana
republic or an empire going bananas.

Why doesn't the election process produce better political leaders?
It is
because as time goes by, more and more people become complicit in
decadence. The voters are further and further removed from the actual
process of government...it is only slogans and photo-ops to them. The
people close to power are the hacks and the hustlers, the politicians on
the make, the parasites and players on the take.

Laws multiply like the fishes and the loaves. Moses handed down only 10
commandments; Jesus said only two of them were really important. But
federal, state and local government give us 10,000 commandments - each one
of them designed to protect or pamper some slimy creature living in some
dark hole of the republic. More and more people get checks, subsidies,
grants and payoffs. More and more committees, agencies, and bureaus are
set up to provide sinecures and curry favors.

If we read it right, as many
as half all the jobs created in America in the last five years were
created by government!

History cannot seem to leave well enough alone. Economies, societies,
institutions, animals, vegetables, and even minerals are always
degenerating, degrading, and disappearing. When our present civilization
has finally gone away, what will be left of it? Just a few old coins, and
granite countertops...some converted into tombstones.

We get attacked on Sept 11 2001
The Busman Administration had many previous warnings of an airplane attack possible being used against us. In fact Rumsfeld quit using commercial airplanes to get around....Ya he knew!
Don't let them lie and say "we never knew"

Then with in just hours of the Tower buildings collapsing there is a dozen pictures of who done it on the TV = Hijackers "they say" who did it.
Now how did they know that so quick?
(its bullshit is how)(in fact some of those pictured as a highjack are still alive and have been asking "hey that?s my picture on American TV)
Later bull shit like wallets in the rubble and .....in an airport parking lot, they found a car with {planted}evidence .

Now Hugh Tower Building collapsing from fire or planes hiting them is unheard of, it never happens unless they are a controlled-demolition. In fact there is footage of explosion in the towers prior to collapsing. WTO building 7 collapsed and nobody knows why to this day except [z3 readers know this link]

Cheney was using all the NORAD planes in practice with all kids of convenient blips all over the FAA radars as he practiced ....the onslaught began

Bush sits and reads to kindergarten kids ..no big deal (read = "ahhh plan is unfolding")

Within days the whole Patriot Act is passed.
100's of 1,000 of pages already to be signed in and constitution in the garbage can.

"Attack Afghanistan" Bushman says, "QUICK THEY DID IT, IT WAS BIN LADIN!"
And then after Afghanistan....before I can get the flag off my car antenna ....we moved illegally and under/with MAJOR F* LIES ....
We invade a country that had nothing to do with 911

Good job head in the sand crowd! The Neocon?s in following their Project For The New America {More Here} plan have their pre-planned --> "new pearl harbor"

So then after torturing, rendition to secret prisons in illegal lying ways they start spying on Americans and snooping without warrants (nice move bushman!) saying all the time ..."we are catching evil doer's" cock n bull story.

OK then after all this is going on and has been implemented (WAR - TORTURE - USING FORIGN PRISON WITH CIA PLANES - SPYING - PATRIORT ACT - SEDATION OF JOURNILISTS - ARRESTING PEASE DESENTERS - IGNORING MOTERS OF DEAD SOLIDERS) ...they now 3-15-06 move on to a "high profile court case against the only person in custody named "Zacarias Moussaoui" from the 911 attack that they have got their dirty lying paws on"

BUT GET THIS Z3 READERS --> THEY CONTINUE TO BOTCH - CHEAT - FIX THE EVIDENSE

Now Playing: IMPEACHMENT IS MY HOPE
Topic: POLITICS
Hello Folks
I have about a dozen excerpts from an online article I read that I want to share with you all. I was reading in an article on how bad Bushman has violated this countries integrity and it was to hard to just read over and not make an issue of it, by blogging or sharing it with you all.
I had to say something, once I had read it!
It was so true and fitting.
It was somber yet encouraging hopeful.
These next few excerpts, will put into context, why IMPEACHMENT is the best resolution to this hell hole Bushman has drug us into. Read the following highlights and then check the link at the bottom for the full article written so eloquently by journalist: Onnesha Roychoudhuri

****************************************************

In fact, the case for the impeachment of President Bush is arguably the strongest in American history. The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) makes this amply clear in its recent book, a concise indictment of President Bush that lays out four clear legal arguments that point to impeachment as a necessary remedy for the gross violation of our Constitution.
The Articles of Impeachment Against George W. Bush covers illegal wiretapping, torture, rendition, detention and the Iraq war. An appendix compares the impeachment proceedings of Andrew Johnson, Nixon and Clinton to the comparatively more powerful case against Bush.
Lawyers at the CCR, indeed lawyers throughout the world, have been embroiled in litigation with the administration for years. But the administration has consistently demonstrated disdain for the law, with the president effectively thumbing his nose at the Supreme Court, Congress, and the American people.

It is this reality that led Michael Ratner and his fellow lawyers at the CCR to provide a clear argument for impeachment to the American people and Congress.

As Ratner told AlterNet, "While our battles against illegal wiretaps and Guantanamo are critical for trying to get back legality, until we get rid of what I consider a criminal administration, we will not be able to go back to even a semblance of civil liberties and human rights."

The Articles of Impeachment make clear that this is no longer just about President Bush. Rather, it is about preventing the executive branch from obtaining carte blanche to disregard the two other branches of government. This is a paradigm shift that has already gained substantial footing through this administration's steady erosion of legal precedent

......man is this right to the point of what is needed right now or what ?......

This is a few paragraphs of an interview that the author(Onnesha) had with Michael Ratner from CCR....I enjoy this kind of conversation...

OR: What do you say to Americans who think it isn't worth bothering with impeachment with the president currently in his final term?

MR: This administration has gone so far beyond what the requirements of the Constitution and the law. The question is whether this country can ever come back and resemble a democracy again. Unless you hold accountable the people who actually carried out an illegal war with Iraq, warrantless wiretapping and torture, there's nothing to stop the next administration -- whether it's Republican or Democrat -- from continuing with the same. We have to show that what happened in this country in the past four years is an utter subversion of our Constitution and completely unlawful under domestic and international law. Otherwise, I fear that this country may be changed forever in a very negative direction.

OR: What's at stake here?

MR: What's at stake is a presidency that is becoming an imperial presidency -- in which he's no longer responsible to the judiciary or the Congress. This is a president that thinks that, on his own, he can wiretap people, torture people, pick them up anywhere in the world. This has to be beaten back, and it has to be done soon. It is becoming embedded in our society in a way that is very hard to get rid of.

MR: Yes, this is about a particularly bad president -- a president who doesn't care about constitutional rights. But what's really going on here is what Cheney actually came out and stated a month ago when he talked about warrantless wiretapping. He said that they wanted to overcome what happened to the presidency during the '60s and the '70s.
There's an absolute intent here to make the presidency much more powerful, what they call a unitary presidency where they're not just a co-equal branch, but they are the branch -- no court or Congress can check them. This is not just about the president any longer, it's about these assertions of inherent power in the executive to override constitutional, international, congressional limitations, and judicial limitations. That's a big problem because that's essentially a dictatorship.

OR:
With all this gratuitous conduct that has been amassed in the media, the question arises, why haven't there been many legal successes stopping this behavior?

MR: At the CCR, in almost every single action discussed in the articles, we have various lawsuits going. The problem is that they take a long time. Also, the courts are not always in our favor. And, even when we win, the administration is able to undercut them. You don't just win by lawsuits; you win by popular protest, people in the streets. That's the way you have to win. The Center really believes that our lawsuits are important and people have to be represented. We have to stop torture to the extent that we can. But there has to be popular protest in this country, or our lawsuits are not going to change anything.
